Veritech, Inc., a leading provider of strategic energy management solutions, today announced the availability of a new component for its ESteam™ steam system modeling solution, which enables industrial plants to optimize their steam generation costs for maximum plant efficiency. The ESteam Optimizer simplifies management of complex combinations of boilers and fuels used to generate steam within the plant footprint or purchased from “across the fence.” The new boiler optimization module adds important functionality to the already powerful ESteam modeling solution. ESteam allows plants to manage the use of steam generated by the boilerhouse by providing a complete thermodynamic picture of the entire steam system from the boilers to the deaerators. With ESteam Optimizer users can now incorporate a complete view of where steam comes from and how it is generated into their overall steam system optimization plan.
